General Laborer

Job Description

As a general laborer, you will be responsible for completing a variety of utility construction tasks. The ideal candidate:

  • Perform routine manual labor necessary in the operation and maintenance of a utility company

  • Maintain safe practices and proper care of tools and equipment

Qualifications

  • General knowledge of utility construction processes and tooling

  • Pre-employment and random drug screening

  • Familiarity with being around heavy equipment

  • Valid Driver’s license; CDL preferred

  • Or be eligible to obtain CDL within 180 days of employment

  • Meet the physical requirements of the role which includes occasional lifting up to 70 pounds, bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the work period. Occasional long-term standing, sitting, and walking during work.
